How would you rate your work performance? Do you continually try to raise the bar or are you just happy to get through the day? If you're the latter, it sounds like get you've gotten too comfortable in your role. This means it's time to push your boundaries and leave your comfort zone!
Too often when working through tasks we become stagnant and our performance starts to decline. Our workload might be manageable, but if your output doesn't increase, then how will you improve performance? It's just like running on a treadmill. Run every time at the same speed, for the same duration and you complete the goal but are you progressing? (I'm guilty of this!)
We need new challenges to enhance our output. But how? Recently, I was fortunate enough to be trained for two full days by the inspiring Richard Farmer from Connector Talent Solution. Not only was he engaging & insightful, but his words of wisdom (below) have had a profound impact, enhancing my work ethic overnight!
