Spotify's latest advertising campaign was very cleverly put together, bringing back the amusing playlist names of Sportify users.
This campaign used actual user data in a humorous and interesting fashion. It included posters of interestingly named playlists and videos featuring famous artists and the songs from these playlists, while the artists dance along to the choices placed on them.
I think it's a great use of lighthearted satire, putting the Spotify users at the center of the ads; it certainly makes it a memorable campaign! Props to Spotify for their creativity and humour here.
Late last year, Spotify ran a very cool global out-of-home campaign based around its vast trove of listener data, with headlines referencing some of the more bizarre user habits it noticed throughout 2016.
